Your resume is a tool with a very specific purpose: to win an interview. A great resume doesn't just tell a potential employer what your qualifications are; it convinces an employer that you have what it takes to be successful. Your resume should encourage an employer to want to learn more about you. A well-crafted resume will encourage the prospective employer to pick up the phone and ask you to come in for an interview.
